About Truck Hatch Latch

Look at my hands and you’ll know right away—I’m no supermodel. I’m a hardworking, over-the-road trucking guy just like you. A road warrior making it happen for my family and for America.

Trucking from coast to coast is the backbone of this country. Whether you’re hauling frac sand for the oil fields, cement and lime for construction, plastic pellets for manufacturing, or food-grade flour and grain, we keep the shelves stocked. As a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, honesty, integrity, and hard work mean everything to me.

For years, I drove big rigs and got sick and tired of busting my back and my knuckles opening those darn, ornery truck hatches. I heard a lot of my road buddies saying the exact same thing: “Why doesn’t someone invent something to help us out here?”

Then, the idea hit me.

It sounded simple at first, but it took a lot of trial and error to get the metal formed just right so that the exact same tool could both open and shut those stubborn latches. My good friend Greg and I kept working on it, busting plenty of our own knuckles in development until we perfected it.

The result? The Truck Hatch Latch.

Once we had it working perfectly, we teamed up with one of the best patent and trademark attorneys in the country—a guy who stands up for the working man. Most importantly, I’m keeping the Truck Hatch Latch 100% Made in America. We all need to support American jobs and feed our families.

Look closely at the video on our demo page—you won’t see any busted knuckles there! This tool truly makes life on the road easier and safer.

I hope to see you out there sometime soon when I’m delivering a load or fueling up the rig. Be sure to slap me on the back and say hello. Hang in there, y’all. We are the backbone of this country, and we’ve got to look out for each other.

Your friend,

Trucker Bob
